My Timeline

Since I've started at UNH all the way back in 2007, I have not proceeded along the traditional path. There have been up and downs, discoveries, side journey's, new passions, big life changes, which have ultimately let me to here! Finishing my college career after 17 years. 

September 2007-Started at UNH in the Thompson School of Applied Sciences, focusing in Applied Business Management

September 2008-Became an RA 

May 2009-Graduated 

September 2009-Joined Wildcat Transit

January 2010-Earned my CDL-B with Passenger Endorsement

January 2011-Stopped attending UNH as I did not know what I wanted to do

May 2011-Earned my Tank endorsement

August 2012-Took some courses at Great Bay Community College with the aim of becoming a nurse

October 2015-Became a full-time staff member at Wildcat Transit teaching Commercial Driving. Stopped attending GBCC

May 2016-Started taking classes again and start to finish earning my Bachelors degree. My original goal was major in History (how i ended up with a minor in French) but I couldn't concentrate in the area I wanted so at the suggestion of my wife, I choose Outdoor Education

May 2017-Became Wilderness First Responder Certified. Realized I want to teach OE/OLM

October 2017-Proposed to my wife

August 2018-Bought a Tiny House on Wheels

October 2018-Got married

February 2020-Moved into the THOW

March 2020-COVID

May 2020-Furloughed with the fear that I might not be able to return to my job and finish my degree

August 2020-Returned but my college career had changed for the better. Most classes were outside and more people began to see the need for outdoor time and the importance of the outdoors. Renewed interest in history and the discovery of Place-Based learning as a concept

Fall 2021-Applied to Graduate School and becoming a graduate assistant here at UNH with the hopes of earning my masters in Outdoor Education

February 2022-Became a Nationally Registered CDL Trainer

Spring 2022-Accepted to both positions

May 2022-Graduated with a degree in Outdoor Education with a Minor in French after 6 years!

July 2022-Stepped down from being a full-time trainer at Wildcat Transit

August 2022-Renewed my WFR with the goal of becoming a WFR trainer through either SOLO or NOLS. Started the process of shadowing current WFR/WFA instructors. 

August 2022-Start Graduate School in RMP with a focus on Recreation Administration

November 2022-Attended my first conference, AEE

January 2023-Began teaching RMP 411 Applied Recreational Risk Management

November 2023-Presented at AEE 

April 2024-Presented at AEE Northeast
